Adventure Travel Expo in New Mexico
2nd annual Adventure Travel Expo will be held at Sandia BMW Open Lot located at 6001 Pan American Fwy, Albuquerque, NM 87109.
The 2019 Adventure Travel Expo Southwest event will be bigger in regards to Expo area, number of vendors consisting of large and small companies which are local and nationally recognized brands, numerous southwest region 4wheel clubs, overland travel organizations, and food vendors. While we are raising the bar to a larger scale, we expect to have community participation increased by at least 30% from our inaugural event.
The 2019 Adventure Travel Expo Southwest rolls back into Albuquerque March 2nd at Sandia BMW’s Open Lot to bring friends, community, local and national industry leaders together for the love of overlanding. A phenomenon that has grown exponentially in north America in the past decades “overlanding” is best described as self-reliant adventure travel typically, but not exclusively, by off-highway capable transport where the primary form of lodging is camping and the journey means more than the destination.
The Expo, held last March, was supposed to be a small meeting of the “tribe” to get together the overlanding travel community and the business that serve the lifestyle. Fortunately, the response was so tremendous that over 1500 people addended, most bringing out there own travel rigs and motorcycles which added to the favor of the event.
With such success and the demand from the community, The Adventure Travel Expo Southwest will now be an annual event with intentions for the event to grow bigger year over year. It is a true testament to the gaining popularity of Overlanding in North America.
Whether you are avid overlander or just getting into the lifestyle, Come on out to the 2nd annual Adventure Travel Expo to chat with friends’ learn about todays best products and be part of the overland travel community. The event will be begin at 9am Saturday the 2nd, $5 at the gate.
