EarthCruiser capstones the end of their diesel trucks with the “Omega”

Since their founding in 2008, diesel powered EarthCruiser trucks have carried their drivers to some of the most remote places on earth, and just as importantly brought them back. A quick look at the EarthCruiser blog, or even searching their tags on social media brings you to images from nearly every corner of the globe. However, a major shift is on the horizon for EarthCruiser, as described in this July post from their blog, changes to diesel regulations in a number of states is pushing them to shift their main vehicle platform.

The Alpha EarthCruiser

EarthCruiser is more than a “diesel” company but they have remained loyal to Mitsubishi Fuso trucks since their founding. Due to the required changes that take effect in 2020, manufacturers moving to gasoline or electric motors, and increased prices on diesel fuel EarthCruiser will be shifting to gasoline powered trucks for their expedition vehicle builds. These gasoline expedition vehicles will be held to the same high standards that have guided the company for the last 11 years.

A render of the Omega

However, given their loyalty to their original vehicle platform EarthCruiser are building a final diesel Mitsubishi Furo truck. Dubbed the “Omega” this truck will come in a custom dark grey painted cab and matching gel coat house. It will have black wheels, and custom “Omega” embroidered Scheel-mann Vario seats to contrast with the all white “Alpha” that was the first truck to roll off of the EarthCruiser line. You have the opportunity to own the “Omega”, the last truck of its era.
