ARB Introduces Redesigned Awning Series II

Built for adventurers who take their vehicles beyond the pavement, ARB introduces the redesigned Awning Series II, delivering a durable, easy-to-deploy shelter with integrated lighting and a hard-case design engineered for life on the trail.

The Awning Series II replaces the previous ARB Awning design with a gloss black, powder-coated aluminum housing and a pre-mounted 1,200-lumen LED light strip. Available in 8.2-foot (2.5-meter) and 6-foot (2.0-meter) configurations, the awning provides a practical shaded and sheltered space for everything from roadside stops and campsite cooking to extended overland travel.

Designed with simplicity and durability in mind, the Awning Series II features shock-cord-loaded opening doors that make deployment easy while helping keep the housing away from the canvas when the awning is deployed.

Instead of conventional zippers, UV-treated, marine-grade shock cords secure the awning when stowed. The zipper-free design eliminates components that can snag, wear or fail over time, helping simplify setup and pack-up after a day on the trail.

Matching black aluminum poles and thick arms provide strength and support, while flexible arm joints help reduce stress and cracking during use.

LIGHT WHERE YOU NEED IT

The integrated 1,200-lumen LED light strip adds illumination to the campsite, trailhead or roadside without requiring a separate lighting setup. A waterproof, IP58-rated digital dimmer switch provides adjustable brightness and three lighting modes:

  • Warm white for a comfortable campsite atmosphere

  • Cool white for brighter task lighting

  • Amber for reduced-glare illumination around camp

The Awning Series II uses a 300 GSM roof material with a 1,000 mm water-head rating, along with welded and heat-taped seams for added weather resistance. Combined with its powder-coated aluminum housing and aluminum support structure, the awning is designed to withstand the demands of vehicle-based travel.
