Armchair Adventure Festival Bootcamp Scheduled Feb 26-28

Looking for a way to have an adventure while you’re snowed in or locked down at home this winter? Reece Gilkes and Matt Bishop, the hosts and creators of the Armchair Adventure Festival, are launching a new virtual event later this month called “Bootcamp.” Co-creator, Reece Gilkes says, “The Armchair Adventure Festival was all about inspiring people with stories of adventure.

The Armchair Adventure Festival is the world’s first all-live virtual adventure festival! Throughout 2020 the group hosted two festivals and five film nights featuring the world’s most adventurous people. Over 5,000 of you joined us for the live, virtual events and in doing so you raised over £12,500 for charity. Our next event is The Armchair Adventure Bootcamp! With workshops on everything from funding to photography, it’s a crash course on how to make that dream trip a reality, and how to capture the memories when you go.

The event is set for February 26-28 and will include a weekend of live masterclasses, workshops and presentations from the world’s leading adventurers. The course is designed to save you money, time and help you get the most out of your adventure travel! There will be sessions relevant to every adventurer on the planet including bikers, hikers, cyclists , 4×4 drivers and more.
