Overland Expo Announces New Venue for EAST Event

In 2014, the organizers of Overland Expo – the largest event of its kind in North America focused on the overland adventure lifestyle – expanded and added a second event held each fall outside of Asheville, North Carolina. Now, in preparation for the third event to be held on the east coast, Overland Expo has announced its plan to relocate the event to the famed Biltmore Estate.

For those unfamiliar with Overland Expo, it’s the premier overlanding event in the world with classes taught by the world’s leading experts on adventure travel along with a professional-level trade show that features nearly everything camping and vehicle-related. The EAST event is set in the beautiful scenery of the surrounding Blue Ridge Mountains and the new venue, the Biltmore Estate, features 8,000 acres of lush and beautiful scenery with expansive fields for vendors, classes, and on-site camping as well as access to the existing Land Rover Experience trails for four-wheel drive and motorcycle training.

For those who attend the EAST event, you’ll also be able to tour the Biltmore House and a myriad of outdoor recreation opportunities including biking, hiking, clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing and boating.
