SEMA to host Overland Experience in Las Vegas this November

Earlier today the Specialty Equipment Manufacturers Association, also known as SEMA, announced it plans to feature a new section at this year’s event in Las Vegas focused on the continually growing segment of overlanding. Dubbed the Overland Experience, this new section in the Performance Pavilion of the venue at SEMA will highlight dozens of customized vehicles with roof top tents, kitchen systems, and a host of products the overlanding crowd typically uses while exploring remote destinations.

“The new Overland Experience showcases a growing trend in the market,” said Tom Gattuso, SEMA VP of Events. “With overlanding products, vehicles and education displayed in a centralized location, buyers will gain a comprehensive understanding of what the market entails and how they can build overlanding into their businesses.”

This is exciting news as OutdoorX4 has recognized for years that overlanding and vehicle-based adventure travel have played a significant role within the off-road industry and has been the largest contributor to the industry’s growth. OutdoorX4 plans to be in attendance and participate in several of the organized discussions on the subject of overlanding including industry trends, business opportunities, and a host of other subjects related to vehicle-based adventure travel. While SEMA is not open to the public, we will be sharing our experience while at the event when it’s hosted November 5 – 8.
