A rocker switch panel for your adventure vehicle conveniently and aesthetically controls all your necessary vehicle enhancements
Off-roaders and outdoorsmen love their rigs outfitted with driving, fog, spot and flood lights and other 12-volt accessories. The more the better. The challenge for many is finding a clean, efficient way to turn them on and off.
Wiring is a dreaded task for many off-roaders faced with installing switches to control multiple auxiliary lights and accessories. Figuring out what gauge wires to use, what type of relays will handle the load, what fuses are needed, and where to mount everything can be mind boggling.

I’m one of those who would rather be knee-deep in mud pulling out a winch cable than laying upside down under a dash with wire crimpers in my hand. But I found a solution to installing multiple rocker switches: a marine-grade, pre-wired six-gang switch panel, which can be found at a variety of sources including eBay, Amazon and WalMart for less than $35.
Yes, these are made in China, and probably by DaierTek, a massive manufacturer of switches and electrical components under a plethora of brands. Be that as it may, this is a switch panel that works really well for off-road use be it in vehicles or UTVs. I’ve installed them in both.

The 4.5”x7” panel can be attached to any flat surface via screws or rivets. Its prewired switches saves time on installation. And having dual LEDs makes it easy to locate the switches in dark. Of course, having labels for the rockers that cover just about any application is a nice plus.

In addition to housing a half-dozer rocker switches, this panel also includes a handy dual-port USB socket and a cigarette lighter socket that can be used with 12V plug-in accessories. There’s also volt meter, which allows you to keep an eye on battery status.
Overall, this 12 volt waterproof marine rocker switch panel gets a thumbs-up because it’s a practical, well designed, clean looking, inexpensive solution to handling the switch needs of those who love to personalize their rig with aftermarket lights and accessories.
