Morimoto’s 4Banger fog lights provide exceptional visibility for your vehicle-based adventures
The stock halogen headlights and fog lights in my 2021 Ford F250 are truly awful. Without exaggerating, my son’s 1997 Isuzu Trooper throws better light down the road than my modern truck. I will eventually replace the headlights with Morimoto’s XB LED units, which receive rave reviews for both aesthetics and insane levels of brightness. At almost $2,000 though, it’ll be a while before I make the upgrade. Until then, I chose to replace the factory fog lights with Morimoto’s affordable 4Banger Fog Lights utilizing the wide beam pattern, hoping that they would make a difference. And boy, did they ever!

Mounted in the factory location on the bumper using the included mounting kit, you’d be hard pressed to tell that they aren’t OEM. I had them wired up to the factory fog light switch, so there aren’t any extra switches in the cab. The mounting brackets allow you to easily adjust the angle of the light to avoid blinding oncoming traffic. The 4Banger’s emit an incredibly bright, very white light with a good beam spread that provides exceptional visibility forward and to the sides of the road. If you live or drive anywhere with a lot of deer, the 4Banger Fog Lights would be a solid investment.
The 4Banger Fog Lights easily overpower the factory halogen headlights. So much so, that I never use high beams because the Morimoto’s throw so much more light that low beam with fog lights is significantly better than high beams alone. I’ve forded creeks, crawled over chunky Moab trails and flown down gravel roads since installing the 4Bangers and they’ve shown no signs of damage. The lenses are still in great shape and the lights are going strong. Try as I might, I can find no fault with the Morimoto 4Banger Fog Lights and at $380 for the pair, they’re everything I’d hoped they would be. I’m now even more eager now to install their XB headlights on our rig.
