ARB Introduces Zenith Bumper for LC 250

ARB has introduced the Zenith Bumper for the Toyota Land Cruiser, delivering a low-profile front-end design that combines rugged protection, integrated recovery capability and winch functionality without compromising the vehicle’s factory safety and performance systems.
Designed for drivers who take their Land Cruiser beyond the pavement, the Zenith Bumper provides enhanced protection for vulnerable front-end components while maintaining a clean, streamlined appearance. Extensive engineering and design work went into maximizing strength and functionality while minimizing front overhang and maintaining airflow to the vehicle’s critical cooling systems.
The Zenith is constructed from durable, laser-cut and formed 3mm steel for an optimized strength-to-weight ratio. The bumper receives a MetaPrep primer, e-coat and satin black powder-coat finish to provide long-term corrosion resistance. Exposed robotic Synchro Pulse welds highlight ARB’s precision manufacturing and attention to detail.
One of the Zenith’s defining features is its integrated recovery system. Two forged, robot-welded recovery points are built directly into the bumper, with each rated to 17,637 pounds (8 tons). The recovery points are designed for both straight-line and angled side recoveries, with a shape specifically engineered to protect soft shackles and reduce point loading on steel D-shackles. Each recovery point is rated for pulls up to a 35-degree angle.
The bumper also incorporates a built-in winch cradle compatible with most low-mount winches rated up to 10,000 pounds. Twin recessed recovery jack points provide secure locations for recovery equipment and are compatible with an ARB Jack and traditional farm jacks.
Protection continues below the bumper with integrated skid plates. A heavy-duty, laser-formed center skid plate and additional side plates help shield vulnerable components when navigating rocky trails, steep approaches and other demanding terrain.
Despite its protective design, the Zenith was engineered to preserve vehicle functionality. The bumper maintains compatibility with factory front-facing radar, parking sensors and airbag systems, as well as the Toyota Land Cruiser’s four-camera Multi-Terrain Monitor with Panoramic View Monitor. Original-equipment fog lights are retained through dedicated apertures on applicable models.
The forward-facing radar system is relocated as part of the installation. However, the Zenith is not compatible with the vehicle’s Front Cross Traffic Alert system. The bumper can still be installed, but this particular function will be lost.
For those looking to add auxiliary lighting, the Zenith’s removable center grille insert provides mounting space for up to six 4-inch pod lights, including ARB’s Nacho Quatro (PM451). Multiple pre-drilled mounting locations also allow for a range of additional lighting configurations. When a winch is installed, the maximum number of 4-inch lights is reduced to four.
Additional details include a removable grille shutter stop that simplifies relocation of the grille shutter motor and an engineered, airbag-compatible mounting system secured to the chassis with high-tensile bolts.
