Bundutec Introduces New Riptide Topper

BundutecUSA has unveiled the RipTide, a new truck topper designed to combine the proven functionality of the company’s BunduTop rooftop tent and BunduAwn systems into a single, integrated platform. Scheduled for release in spring 2026, the RipTide is built to provide weather protection, practical storage, and flexible overland capability for a wide range of trucks.

The RipTide features a fully enclosed topper design that eliminates the air gaps often found in traditional topper and tent combinations. The unit is designed for quick removal while providing a comfortable, protected interior space. For sleeping accommodations, buyers can opt for a roof-mounted BunduTop tent, which includes a ladder cover and a private changing area.

Inside, the RipTide offers 56 inches of interior height, allowing for comfortable movement while maximizing interior storage and usability. A 36-inch cabover section adds additional storage capacity, while interior cabinetry with push-button locks helps keep gear secure on the trail. An exterior storage door provides quick access to frequently used equipment.

The roof structure is built with ½-inch plywood and finished with rubber roofing, providing a durable platform capable of supporting the BunduTop tent and additional gear. Standard equipment includes a 50Ah Epoch lithium battery, a Redarc BCDC charger, LED interior lighting, and a 57-liter 12-volt chest refrigerator. Buyers can also add optional upgrades such as a compact cold-water system that includes an interior sink, a 10-gallon water tank, and an exterior spray port.

Designed as a concept platform, the RipTide is engineered to fit a wide range of pickups, from midsize models such as the Toyota Tacoma to full-size trucks.
